With so many electricians to choose from in Los Angeles & Orange County, it’s tough to know who to trust. At Penna Electric we are often asked the same questions each time we visit someone’s home or office to perform a free estimate for electrical services. Since we believe in complete transparency, we figured we’d answer some of these questions ahead of time.
We are a licensed electrical contractor in the state of California. We are registered with the CSLB. Our license number can be seen in the footer of our website.
All California electricians must have workers’ compensation insurance in order to secure and maintain their contractor license. This should not be confused with professional indemnity insurance. At Penna Electric, we are proud to carry both to protect you, our business, and our workers.
Believe it or not, people do ask us to see our credentials. Fortunately, with the age of the internet, you can always do a license check to see a valid license with the CSLB. As you may already know, when you hire a general contractor to perform electrical work, it is common knowledge that they only manage your project and hire sub-contractors to do the work. At Penna Electric, we have 6 electricians on staff. We do not sub out any electrical work to anyone else.
Because Penna Electric is also registered as a General Building Contractor, we are able to perform the demolition, preparation, perform the necessary repairs or installations. Additionally, we always clean up the mess after the job is done. Unlike other electricians who tear apart your walls but never put them back correctly, we make sure your place is back to normal – looking the same way before the work was done and sometimes making it look even better.
At Penna Electric, we do offer a limited warranty on the work performed. We cover most repairs if any malfunctions occur when the job is finished. Our warranty is detailed in your contract. If you are under warranty, then any problems that happen after the job will be repaired without additional costs. Some restrictions may apply. We encourage you to read and review your warranty before signing any contract with us.
